Remedy picture as described in traditional homoeopathic texts.  As a home prescriber this remedy can be used as a single fortnightly or monthly dose during the winter season based on the person’s susceptibility to catch cold, and is especially recommended for the elderly and those with a weak respiratory system.  An additional dose can also be taken after direct contact with someone suffering from a cold or flu. 
The remedy picture for Anas barb only fits when taken within the first few hours of developing a respiratory ailment when a single dose will be most effective.  Other remedies such as Aconite, Ferrum phos, or Gelsemium can complement the action of Anas barb and are chosen according to their individual remedy pictures. 
If after taking 1 or 2 doses of Anas barb symptoms resolve no further doses are required.  If symptoms develop then choose a remedy based on the symptom picture.  Do not take any further doses of Anas barb.  It is likely you will need to change your remedy as your symptoms change. This may occur several times and is a normal part of the resolution of illness.

Contrary to what we have been told for so long, the sun is actually very healthy and something that we need daily! Most know that we get vitamin D from the sun. Here is sunny Queensland Australia there is really no reason to be low in vitamin D.

For the girls out there, ensure that you are NOT using an SPF moisturiser every day on your face. Your face needs sun light on it. Exchange these SPF moisturisers for a natural oil or other SPF free face cream. 
Spend at least 20 mins each day in the sun, without sunglasses and with as much of your body in the sun rays. Obviously, some care needs to be had in the heat of the day but early morning and afternoon sun is much less harsh. 
Do not wear sunglasses all the time or too often at all! Your eyes need to be exposed to bright sunlight, this is required to make melatonin our sleep hormone. Also, bright sunlight to the eyes supports the production of serotonin this is our happy hormone that support healthy mood.

The other side of Vitamin D that many are not aware of, is that the face needs to see complete darkness at night for at least 7 hours to support healthy vitamin D stores, this means putting your phones away in bed and turning the lights off. Darkness at night is just as important as the exposure to the sun during the day

Im sure you are aware that there is a measles outbreak in Samoa ... there are 50 odd deaths of children under 4. 
Why are these children dieing from a normal childhood disease? 
Well there are a few things at play 
1 - Low nutritional health- this plays a big part in the body being able to heal from illness. 
2 the hospital protocols, they are treating measles with antibiotics. and paracetamol. There are a few things wrong with this protocol... firstly measles is viral not bacterial so no need for the antibiotics and paracetamol supresses the fever that is part of the bodies healing process. They are also not using vitamin A which is a huge part of the required protocol to treat measles and even more so in malnourished children.

Vitamin c is needed to help clear out the die off of the virus in the body. it needs to be administered in small doses frequently.  support helping those that have realised they have been let down by the system.

with the next full moon on the 12 December it is the perfect time to do so. 
Often you will find that kids sleep is disrupted and maybe they will have itchy bum. Often this will happen round a full moon. Worms cycle with the moon and so the tell-tale signs in my house is waking at night or super grumpy round a full moon. 
Some other common signs can be :
πŸ› Loss of appetite/ or eating you out of a house and home. πŸ› vomiting
πŸ› Anger/grumpy behaviour πŸ› Bloating πŸ› Gas and burping πŸ› waking at night
πŸ› Anaemia is common if the child has hookworms.

Homeopathic worming

Worm Combination - 2 drops morning and night for 4 days before until 4 days after a full moon.

Diatomaceous Earth – take 1 tsp in glass of water 3 x day for 1 week before full moon till one week after. Ensure that you keep the bag of DE firmly closed when not using.  For children over 1 year.

Ensure you are drinking enough water during this time. 
Good idea to repeat this every 3 - 6 months.

β€’	4 cloves of garlic
β€’	1 chillier
β€’	2 Tbsp chopped fresh ginger
β€’	1 tsp garam masala
β€’	1 tsp Tumeric
β€’	3 Tbsp coconut oil β€’	2 tsp mustard seeds β€’	1 tsp cumin β€’	2 red onions chopped
β€’	Hand full curry leaves
β€’	Pinch of saffron
β€’	2 cans coconut cream
β€’	4 cups chicken bone broth β€’	ΒΎ cup of rinsed and drained quinoa
β€’	1kg seafood marinara mix
β€’	ΒΌ cup coriander
β€’	Fresh lime ofr serving 
In a mortar and pestle, pound the garlic, ginger and chillies into a paste. Stir in Tumeric, garam masala and set aside

Heat coconut oil in the pan and ass mustard & cumin seeds and cook till they pop. Add the onion and cook on low heath for 5 minutes. Stir in curry leaves, garlic and ginger poste and cook for a minute. Pour in bone broth and coconut cream. Add saffron. Bring to the boil then simmer covered for 20 minutes. Add in quinoa simmer ofr 5 minutes then ass the seafood and lime zest and bring back to boil then simmer for a further 10 minutes. 
Stir in fresh coriander and squeeze of lime to serve
