    Jo is also a doula, birth educator, lactation consultant and kinesiologist.

Online Consultations

Every practitioner at Aroha Health offers online consultations, allowing you to access personalised care from anywhere in Australia.

Online appointments are ideal if you:

  • Live outside North Brisbane
  • Have young children
  • Travel frequently
  • Prefer appointments from home
  • Have limited mobility

Our online appointments are just as comprehensive as in-person consultations.

What to expect from a consultation


After booking your consultation, you will be sent an intake form which includes a comprehensive list of questions to help your practitioner understand your situation more personally. We will deep dive into your medical history, discuss your treatment goals and current lifestyle. From there, we work with you to develop a customised treatment plan that may include homeopathic remedies, practitioner grade supplements & lifestyle interventions such as dietary recommendations.

Consultations may be held in the Woody Point clinic, over the phone or by video call. Jo also offers homeopathy consults from her North Lakes clinic.

If your appointment is by video call, we will call you at your appointment time to arrange the best platform for video call.

How to book a consult

  3. A deposit equal to the value of your appointment is required for Initial Consultations. Follow up appointments can be secured by providing credit card details, without a deposit.
  4. Receive confirmation of your appointment booking via email
  5. Complete your client intake form

Cancellation Policy

At Aroha Health, we value both your time and ours. In order to provide the best possible service and accommodate all of our clients, we have a clear cancellation policy in place. This allows us to accommodate everyone fairly and keep appointment slots available for those who need them.

Please take a moment to review the policy and fees associated with cancellations or missed appointments.

48-Hour Notice Required

We kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice
if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel with more than 48 hours notice,
you will receive a full refund of your deposit
or can reschedule your appointment without penalty.

Less Than 48 Hours Notice

We understand that life happens, and in cases of emergencies or
unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to accommodate you.

If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, a rescheduled appointment or a partial refund of your deposit may be
processed at the discretion of Aroha Health.

No-Show Policy

Initial Consults: If you do not attend your Initial Consultation without prior
notice, the full deposit will be forfeited.

Follow Up Consults: If you do not attend your Follow Up Consultation without prior notice, your credit card will be charged for the full amount of the appointment.

Our cancellation policy helps ensure that we can continue
providing high-quality care while being fair to all clients,
including those on our waiting list. We truly appreciate your
understanding and support in keeping our business running
smoothly.

Do I need a referral or a diagnosis?

No and no. Many of our clients come to us after spending years trying to get to the root cause of their health issues. Often, this comes with "unexplained" symptoms that cannot be attributed to a diagnosis.

Do you have appointments with children?

Yes! All of our practitioners love to work with children, babies and teenagers.
